Two problems related to owners/service manual have been reported for the 2005 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
The rear liftgate will not unlock. There is no manual release or "key bypass" for the rear liftgate lock. This presents a serious safety issue in case of fire or crash.
Lift gate will not open. Danger of accident and not being able to escape from the rear of the vehicle and cannot manually open.
