Front Suspension Stabilizer Bar problems of the 2008 Chevrolet Suburban

Two problems related to front suspension stabilizer bar have been reported for the 2008 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Suspension Stabilizer Bar problem

Failure Date: 01/03/2020

Stabilizer bar bushing broke loose for the frame mount causing stabilizer bar to hang on one side(passenger). Have to have it welded and fabricated to repair the issue. This happened while I was driving on the highway. I heard a noise then I ran over something which was the bushing an clamp.

2 Front Suspension Stabilizer Bar problem

Failure Date: 12/15/2016

Tl-the contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban. The contact stated that while checking the brakes and having the tire off of the vehicle, the contact noticed that the cross member that holds the steering stabilizer bar had rusted completely through on the passenger side near the bolts where it is mounted. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or repaired. The manufacture was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 114,000. Sw.
