Tl the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Suburban. The contact stated while starting the vehicle, the check engine warning light illuminated. The contact started the vehicle and drove the vehicle with the warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to bomnin Chevrolet dadeland located at 8455 s dixie hwy, miami, FL 33143, (305) 669-2709, where the technician associated the failure with NHTSA campaign number: 19v761000 (service brakes, hydraulic, service brakes, electronic stability control) however, the VIN was not included. The vehicle had not been repaired as of yet. The manufacturer had been informed of failure. The failure mileage was not available.
While driving straight on the highway in cool, dry conditions, the check engine light began flashing. The engine began stuttering/bucking and lost power. Dealer advised that it was lifter failure requiring $5k repair not under warranty. Despite the repair, the issue has returned twice requiring additional repairs.
Upon starting vehicle with no previous problems a check engine light and traction contral warning light were displayed on the dash board. Attempted to drive the vehicle, driver could feel the vehicle shake while idling in park, and while stopped but in drive, when driving the vehicle shake continued at both city and hwy speeds. Vehicle shifting felt sluggish. Took vehicle to dealership in albany, GA, vehicle required all 8 injectors to be replaced, along with a coil, spark plug, and two "f-(s)pipe" according to dealership paper work code p0300 and 050d were reported as the problem, also described as a cold start misfire. Vehicle is a 2015 chevy Suburban lt with 54k miles. Service manager stated this is a continuing problem with Suburbans. Service department stated this was one of the few items not covered by chevy's powertrain warranty, total cost to owner is 1741. 20.
