One problem related to transmission pump has been reported for the 2016 Chevrolet Suburban. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Suburban has 125,000 miles. No warning lights ever came on. It was driving fine. Stopped at a gas station and put it in park. When it was put back in drive, it wouldn't go. The rpm's revved up and the vehicle would not shift into gear. After stopping on the side of the road, re-started vehicle. It went into drive and got us to a safe location. However, as soon as we tried to go anywhere, it continued to not shift into gear. Still no warning lights came on. It was taken to a Chevrolet service center. They said the transmission pump was out. Additionally, they have been repairing 3-4 2016 Chevrolet Suburban transmissions every month. All with low miles.
