Eight problems related to brake foundation components have been reported for the 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Consumer was driving 55 mph on dry road, began to press on brakes then brakes started to grab and lock up. Dealer and manufacturer have been notified.
While driving on freeway appled brakes and discovered that the pedal kept going down, and by the time he reached safety the reservior was empty , he had no brake fluid, he had no brakes .
Front end. Applied brakes, vehicle jerked to right or left abruptly when being applied. Problem with clearance between knuckle and caster.

When applying the brakes the pedal goes to the floor and the vehicle keeps going. Dealer has not seen vehicle as off yet.
