Two problems related to air bag not deploy have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Vehicle was involved in a rear collision at about 70mph, causing the vehicle to surge forward into another vehicle. Upon imapct, the airbags did not deploy, and the seatback collapsed. The manufacturer will be contatced .
Consumer's vehicle was involved in a collision. Vehicle flipped over an embankment. It flipped down a hill, and rolled over 6 times, and landed in a ditch. Upon impact, air bags did not deploy.
