Front Air Bag problems of the 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe

Two problems related to front air bag have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Tahoe. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 10/30/2002

Consumer called and stated that she was involved in a collision and none of her air bags deployed and also stated that the front passanger seat belt did not lock which cause the passanger to bang her head on the windshield which also caused her phisical damage and cracked the windshield. Dealer was contacted. Ts.

2 Front Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 03/11/2001

Faulty airbags with a high speed head on collision.
