The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the front driver side seat belt tensioner cable had failed to operate as needed. Due to the failure, the seat belt warning symbol had appeared on the instrument panel. Upon investigation, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign number: 21v450000 (seat belts) which was linked to the failure. Both the dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure and both informed the contact that the vehicle was not included in the recall. The vehicle had yet to be diagnosed or repaired. Tl the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. While the vehicle was stationary and while driving various speeds, the front driver's side seat belt severely cut into the contact's body. The seat belt became significantly worn to the point of a potential fracture with the seat belt webbing. Furthermore, the contact stated that the trimming on the front driver and passenger sides became detached from the vehicle's exterior. The trimming created a whistling noise and blew in the wind while driving various speeds. The contact rolled down the driver's window and had to hold the exterior trimming to the body of the vehicle to keep it from detaching from the vehicle completely and striking other motorists. Jupiter Chevrolet (11611 I-635, garland, texas 75041, (972) 271-9900) was made aware of the failure and took the vehicle in for service. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that there was no recall on the seat belt or the driver's and passenger's side trimming failure. The manufacturer provided the contact with case number: 8-484-580-7149. The failure mileage was 72,000.

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the front driver's side seat belt failed to securely fasten. The failure occurred when the temperature was cold outside. When the outdoor temperature was warmer, the seat belt worked properly. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.

The middle seatbelt in the middle row of my 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe gets caught under the plastic piece attached to the back of the bench that the seatbelt feeds through. The seatbelt when stretched out slides between the slit in the plastic. It gets stuck under the plastic and becomes loose and limp rendering the seatbelt useless.

Tl- the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that when they put the front driver seat at its highest point the seat belt anchor pressed down on their leg and caused bruising. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer and was told that the seat would need to be lowered in order for the seat belt to work properly. The seat belt was not designed to work when the seat is raised that high and the contact felt the seat belt should still work even though when the seat is sit to its highest position. The seat belt anchor is connected to the seat and not the frame of the vehicle. The vehicle had not been repaired. The contact filed a complaint with the manufacturer and then was told by the manufacturer that there is no extension made for the seat belt. Rl.

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. While driving at approximately 50 mph, the radio became inoperative and the audible indicator failed. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact was made aware of NHTSA campaign number: 14v301000 (electrical system, seat belts); however, the VIN was not included. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 6,700.

The contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated that the seat belt on the third row center seat belt failed to unlatch. The dealer was contacted and referred the contact to the manufacturer. The manufacturer referred the contact to the owner's manual which stated "to disconnect the rear safety belt Mini latch, using a key in the slot on the Mini buckle and let belt retract to the headliner. Stow the Mini latch in the holder in the head liner. " in the event of an emergency, the occupant of this seat could become entrapped in the seat if they did not have an object to unlatch the buckle. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was unknown.

Seat Belt problem #13

Tl-the contact owns a 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe. The contact stated while driving approximately 45 mph, the contact was going up an incline and did not realize that the vehicle ahead of the her was coming to a stop. As an result the contact crashed into the vehicle causing that vehicle swerve into the opposite lane and crash into 3 other vehicles. The air bags failed to deploy and the seat belts failed to lock in the contacts vehicle. Medical attention was required for the passengers of the other vehicles for unknown injuries. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a independent mechanic. The vehicle was not diagnosed for the failure but the entire front panel needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 9200. Mf.

Seat Belt problem #14

Passenger seat belt light indicator reads passenger is not buckled when seat belt is buckled. Indicator stays on, warning beep is constant.
