1 Brake Sensor problem

Failure Date: 08/01/2012

The contact owns a 2008 Chevrolet Tahoe Hybrid. The contact stated while driving approximately 30 mph, he applied the brakes and there was a slight response. The traction control, stability trak warning indicators and the service brake soon warning lights illuminated. The vehicle was maneuvered to the emergency lane where the engine was turned off. Upon restarting, the vehicle resumed normally although the check engine warning indicator illuminated. The failure recurred ten times. The vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer for diagnosis. The failure was contributed to the computer sensor and the vehicle was repaired. Eleven months after the repair was performed, the failure recurred. The vehicle was not repaired for the most recent defect. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 60,000.
