10/29/2009, 2001 Tracker zr2 model, vehicle traveling 50 mph with a slight right hand turn in road, west bound on hwy 26 far left hand lane. Heard a loud bang, vehicle became uncontrollable, went into right hand spin, crossed three lanes of traffic and hit concrete barricade on far right hand of hwy. Driver was slammed into window and sustained minor injuries, air bags did not deploy. Inspection of vehicle reveals damage to left rear fender, door and both wheels. Lower control arm came loose, steering rod broke in half and destroyed the rack housing. Could have died in this accident, so very lucky here.

I was at a complete stop and was rearended by a vehicle who did not see me and did not attempt to stop hitting me going 35-50 mph and pushing my car into the vehicle in front of me and impact that vehicle. My frontal airbag did not deploy and my seatbelt did not restrain me. I believe both of these were faulty and did not work properly based on the speed I was hit. While driving at 40 mph consumer's vehicle collided with the left side of another vehicle running a stop sign. Consumer was wearing seat belts, but air bags did not deploy. Consumer and a passenger sustained various bone fractures and bruises. The police and an ambulance did arrived on the scene.

Consumer stated that on Monday may 11, 2004 while sitting at a light vehicle was hit from the rear at approximately 30-35 mph. Consumer's vehicle was pushed into another vehicle. Driving at approximately 50 mph driver swerved to avoid hitting another vehicle and lost control. Vehicle went across freeway and hit a steel barrier with the right front passenger's side, and continued on for a block. Then, went into a ditch, nose first upon impact, dual airbags did not deploy, causing minor injuries in sterium and head. No indictation of airbag being defective. Vehicle was a total loss.
