Two problems related to front seat heater/cooler have been reported for the 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
My driver's heated seat in my '02 Trailblazer becomes extremely hot after being turned on for 20 seconds. There seems to be no more hi, medium, or low setting and any setting you have it on starts to burn and you can not sit on the seat.
Upon a cross country drive with my 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer - the seat warmer kept turning itself on. I was unable to turn it off. Kept trying. Given that it was a Sunday and we were driving from arizona to wisconsin for the holidays, we needed to keep moving. The seat got so hot I needed to put a folded blanket down to be abe to sit on it. Eventually - it failed. It got so hot it burned a brown spot into the leather seat and completely burned a hole through the interior seat material. This should be investigated as a fuse or something else should have failed before it got that hot.
