Two problems related to steering column have been reported for the 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
: the contact stated while at a stop, the steering wheel was adjusted, but would not lock in position. The vehicle was taken to the sales/service dealer. On inspection, the contact was informed that the tilt rack would not lock and the steering column needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified.
: the contact stated while driving at all speeds a grinding noise was heard coming from the steering column. The dealership was unable to duplicate the problem. The manufacturer was alerted.
