While driving on the highway the loe beam lights flickered on and off and shut off for a couple of seconds. The driver door window switch continually malfunctions while driving and stationary windows won't roll up or down and the fuel level gauge works sometimes and other times it won't.

Tl-the contact owns 2007 Chevrolet trail blazer. The contact did not received a recall notice. The contact stated that the gas gage failed to let the driver know the vehicle was out of gas. The approximately speed was 55 mph. The empty warning light it is always illuminated. The engine stalled. The problem has occurred approximately 10 times. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was never repaired. The contact notified the manufacturer. The approximate mileage at time of the failure 193,059. Bp.

The fuel level sending unit was looked at about 1 month before June of 2007 at 4500 miles and again at June 22nd and then it was replaced. This problem continued throught out the life of the vehicle I just made sure it had gas in it. It came on again about sept 20th of 2014 and stayed on for five days. All this time passed because I didnt have the time to mess with it. I decided I had had enough and took it to gm in olathe kansas where they in stalled a new sending unit it is a new and better one the charged me 108. 88 and I feel they should take care of the whole price.

Some times fuel gage reads empty and some times reads full and still it may a third empty or 16 gallons full.

I filled the vehicle up to full with gasoline. The bell chimed shortly thereafter and low fuel light, and warning came on showing low fuel. A few days later the check engine light came on. I received a notice from gm in 2013 about a possible problem with early wear of the fuel sensor causing this problem. They covered the expense of repair up to 120,000 miles. We now have 134,000 miles on this vehicle and the problem just came up, so will not be covered by gm. I have read many complaints about this problem with the Trailblazer online, so I know the problem has been identified by gm. I cannot afford the repair at this time and believe gm is not recalling this fuel sensor problem as they should be doing.

My key will not come out of the ignition causing me to leave the keys in there.

All of the lines on my vehicle (fuel, brake, power steering) have really bad rust corrosion. These will have to be replaced before there is a serious failure. The truck is only a 2007 and the lines look like it's a 1987.

We need your help! ***faulty gas gauge*** our 19-year-old daughter drives our 2007 chevy Trailblazer, which apparently has a known problem of a faulty gas gauge. Our daughter noticed her gas gauge "dropped" to e and she believed she was about to be stranded on a dangerous part of the highway at night and she panicked. At first, we thought she just forgot to fill up. After it happened again, we researched the problem only to find that NHTSA and Chevrolet already knows of the problem and neglected to initiate a total recall or any notification at all. We never even received a warning letter in the mail from Chevrolet. However, we routinely receive other, apparently more important correspondence, such as, sales literature for warranties and onstar. *** this was one of your daughters and she was stranded because of a false reading, and something horrible happened to her because she was stranded, I think you would address this issue more aggressively****** we have read that chevy will pay for 1/2 of the repair. This is not good enough. We do not have the money. This is a quality control issue on chevy?s part, not a wear and tear issue on our part. We are counting on you to implore that chevy completely take care of this repair free of charge to us. Taking time off from work and school, plus the threat of possibly stalling in traffic and being killed in an accident is inconvenience enough. I am a disabled 62 years old lady and I have a Trailblazer 2007. About 2 month the gasoline gauge was showing empty all the time, I took the car to the dealer and they told me that they know there is a problem with the gauge but gm only going to pay a portion of the repair. I have to pay 139. 00 of my pocket. I ask the reason it is a recall. One the attendant said the if recognize that was a recall they have the reputation of the Trailblazer was going to be damage. Yesterday I was going to my doctor and the car run out of gas because I did not know my son used the car the night before. I am writing this from my comp at the hospital. Fuel sender stopped working only shows below empty. Checked many other sites found many have stopped working this must be a recall on this part.

After filling up fuel system began malfunctioning; shows empty after fill up. Took vehicle to shop for repair and they state that you must replace whole system can not simply replace gauge. Shop states this vehicle is known for fuel system problems and they have worked on multiple vehicles with relatively low mileage with same malfunctions.

The gas gauge registers full when filled with gas but after 20 miles or so it indicates empty. Called dealer and was told gm will replace for 1/2 price. Doesn't make sense it's a defect and should be repaired free of charge.

2007 Trailblazer fuel guage reads empty even after fueling. Research shows it is a prevalent failure in this model. Monitoring the odmoter is the only way to estimate remaining fuel. It can be dangerous not knowing correct amount of fuel remaining.

Fuel sender/gauge does not function. I bought this 07 Trailblazer brand new and it only has 31k miles. Problem started to occur around 27k miles and the dealer advised it was not covered under warranty!!! you would think with 70 complaints about this same issue, chevy would do something about it!!! very disappointing. I just wish that was the only problem. . . Tire monitor doesn;t work, the ac electrical system failed, and the check engine light is always on.

Fuel level sending unit quit working or reports false level. Particularly happens when I fill up. Check engine light also has come on and when it was checked showed problem with the fuel sending unit.

I own a 2007 chevy Trailblazer. 2 thousnd miles aftr the warranty expired mty fuel level sensor went out. I have come to find this is a huge problem with this vehicle and there should be a recall for such a common problem.

Gas gauge does not work. . My mother has ran out of gas several times over the past few years because she has to calculate her mileage. It is ridiculous that she has receipts all over the place with miles and gallons written on them . My complaint is if this is a chevy problem why do I have to pay half to get it fixed? we also own a chevy hd truck with same problem. Everytime I take my car to get an oil change or repaired people always tell me about other Trailblazer customers who have the same problem! what's up with this?.

I was at the gas station fueling my Trailblazer. After filling the vehicle I got in and started it up. The fuel hand went to the top of the gauge, as expected, and then went all the way to e. It has not functioned since. I have to use my trip mileage meter to gauge mileage so that I don't run out of gas on the interstate. Our Trailblazer is our primary family vehicle and it is dangerous not to know how much fuel is in your vehicle at any given time, especially since we have our small child with us most of the time.

I have a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS, the gas gauge at 52,000 miles began to fluctuate from e to f. This does not give an accurate reading. I understand this may not seem like a pressing safety issue but it can lead to stranded motorist which can be safety related. It now occurs every day. I have not repaired the part yet but reading various forums online state it is a common occurrence that ranges from a 600. 00 to 800. 00 procedure. I also looked at the complaint results in the last 3 years on this year model alone vehicle and the ntsa has received several complaints. I am positive if you researched every year model of the Trailblazer you will find a trend. Please do the job of the government and make sure general motors rectifies the situation.

The gas sensor on the 2007 Trailblazer goes out and the vehicle is not able to pass emission test required by state law. I have researched on line and found several of the same complaints from other Trailblazer owners.

The gas gauge on my 2007 chevy Trailblazer will not read above empty and the light stays on constantly. I have searched several online forums and found that this is apparently a very common problem that gm charges $500 or more to fix even though they are well aware of the problem.

Fuel guage does not register properly. Indicator remains on empty and low fuel indicator light stays on even after filling up.

I own a 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer LS. The vehicle in no way get the mileage it is supposed to. The windshield states 14 mpg in city/highway but in no way have I ever gotten this. The dealer checked it over and said that everything was to spec and nothing could be done. In driving the best I can get is about 15 mpg. The current mileage is 9600. The dealer told me it should get better by 10000. This car is not a keeper.
