6 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 10/15/2015

Driving at night my headlights quit working. Like dozens of other complaints to nhsta, I contacted general motors but this VIN was not covered on nhsta id 14v7550, gm recall 14291. The repair cost $80 but gm has refused to honor my request for reimbursement. When is nhsta going to do it's job and force gm to expand the number of vins that should have been included. I am sure there are proabaly hundreds if not thousands of other owners like me. The loss of headlights at night is a very dangerous problem and should receive muich quicker action from the nhsta on the vins to be included.

14 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 05/01/2013

I was driving home from a wedding on the interstate at 55 mph, and my headlamps failed. Everything went completely dark. After a panic, I was able to turn on my high beams, and they worked properly. I had to drive the rest of the way home with my high beams on for safety, blinding oncoming drivers. When I got home, I tested my fog lights, and they worked properly. I turned the car off, waited a few minutes, and turned it back on. The low beam headlamps worked then. Since the first incident, I have had approximately 10-15 other incidents of the same occurrence. I was positive that my vehicle was included in the recent recall, but when I called my local dealer, I was advised that my VIN number was not included. I don't understand, since the issue on the recall is exactly the issue that I am dealing with. I have had to limit my use of the vehicle at night for fear that the headlamps will fail. Side note - they have failed at night twice in the last week alone. Generally what I have to do is pull over on the side of the road (scary) and turn the car off, wait, and try them again.

22 Wiper problem

Failure Date: 08/29/2012

While driving at 45 mph (foot not on the gas, going downhill) the vehicle lost all power. Was approaching a stoplight and braked to stop. After truck came to full stop due to me braking for light anyhow, brake pedal became hard, unable to push down or pump. Stopped at traffic light not knowing what happened since gas tank was full, I shut key (truck) off, and on waited till light turned green, it restarted on the first attempt thank goodness. Why the complete powerfailure while driving at 45 mph, I have heard this could be onstar related, even though I am not signed up as a customer, if a Trailblazer 07 is stolen or in an accident, I heard the onstar features confusion w/ satellite and causes them all to shut down. Don't know if this is true, but something went way wrong, luckily no one was hurt or I'd be suing bigtime. Today is 10-12-12, yesterday got a recall notice in the mail for door/windows/locks problem. They will fix for free however no parts to replace are currently available, really??? wow.
