general problems of the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse

Transmission issues.

My engine light came on. When I get gas the car will not just start there is a fuel leak code and a valve code. Getting looked at next week at the dealer.

The 2015 chevy Traverse had a hard shifting transmission from the first day we purchased it. The chevy dealer said that it was a shifting software problem. That did not fix it. The hard shifting transmission caused an engine motor mount to break twice. (there was a safety recall on the motor mount) that engine motor mount caused the power steering fluid to leak out. I contacted the chevy dealer and they said contact general motors. General motors ignored the problems.

Hello, there is a recall on my vehicle and the parts are not available to replace the part. This is my only vehicle and right now I am not able to drive my vehicle because of this recall. Please advise.

The biggest problem is that mechanics don't know how to fix this problem. Traction control needs servicing with causes you to lose acceleration on the freeway. Then sometimes stabilitrac also goes off. Now the vehicle engine keeps running when turned off. The air conditioning sometimes randomly won't work at all, and last the tire servicing system now won't sync.

Vehicle shuts off while driving check engine light and traction light turn on. . Sometimes starts shaking really bad. . . Also decelerates while driving. . Incidents have occurred multiple times within the last 4 months.

My ac blowing out heat been to several different top companies and no one knows what wrong had an ac compressor replaced n ect and heat still blowing was charged over 3000 and still no air.

When stopped at a red light, my car's oil pressure low light came on. I got to a place where I could pull off the road and park. I turned the car off and had it towed to my mechanic. The car was well maintained with about 65,000 miles. The engine is done and needs to be replaced. The cause of the problem is unknown.

As I was driving my car started to stutter and the engine light came on the traction control light and something about the stabilizer needs fixed, reduced engine power. Car stopped went into limp mode. Glad I wasn't in a car accident. I have read many people are having this issue and nothing is being done. We were in a city street. My car has 48717 miles on it.

While driving, the interior lights shut off and my vehicle suddenly loses power. No matter how hard I press on the gas, the vehicle does not respond. Hvac ac stopped working at 52,000 miles stationary and in motion on street/highway.

Car engine says check engine turn off oil pressure is low. It also reads sensor p011. While driving on the freeway. Look like chevy engines are not built to last poor engine. 2011 chevy tahoe have the exact same thing. . . Lots of mechanic don't want to mess with these engines because it's designs are bad and needs to be recalled. Bad make with chevy company period. . .

Vehicle doesn't turn off when key turned to off position and removed.

Driving my 2015 Chevrolet Traverse on an expressway at 65 to 70 mph when suddenly the vehicle started to slow down even when pressing on the accelerator. The speed continued decreasing when we noticed that the radio had also shut down. Fortunately we were able to make our way to the breakdown lane without any mishap. That's when we notice the engine was also completely shut down. We were fortunate that we were able to pull over without causing an accident. We called the dealership and explained the problem and was puzzled that they were not too concerned about the problem. My wife is not concerned about the safety of this vehicle. I have noticed that complaints have been reporting a similar problem. My vehicle is currently at the dealership and they provided me with a loaner in the meantime. I was told that most likely they will not be able to find any problem with the vehicle. This is not much consolation, to us when we will be returning to florida in the near future and wonder whether this problem will occur again when we are on expressways with five to six lanes, all going 70 mph or more and with little room to get out of the way to safety. Looking at other similar issues, what is mentioned as the problem could be the switch, the battery or the alternator, or wiring to all these components. I cannot believe that this issue cannot be diagnosed and remedied immediately before someone gets hurt.

Drove my brand new 2015 chevy Traverse to work for 2. 1 miles, parked, within 15 mins my car caught on fire. Totaled. Fire dept had to put fire out. Tysons corner, va parked at 8281 greensboro drive, tysons, va 22102.

I was driving my 2015 Chevrolet Traverse at 30 mph at 11 pm. My stabilitrak light came on as well as engine light. I lost power and stopped in an unlit, busy intersection. I thought I was going to die. Fortunately no cars hit me. I rolled into a small ditch and stopped. If I stepped on the gas, nothing really happened. I shut car off and looked in owners manual where it said to start car up again. I did and then it worked. I drove to car dealer next day and they knew exactly what was going on as I got out of my car they said they would give me a loaner, which I am currently driving. Mthe said it was a transmission sensor or switch that they had to replace. Obviously, gmmknows about this. This could hve been a fatal accident, easily. This is a crime in that my dealer sold me this car without disclosing a known problem to me. These cars are not safe and I will try to trade it in ASAP for something less hazardous. Again, this is a criminal act that gm is doing by continuing to sell these cars. If no one has died yet, they will soon. Very dangerous problem.

When making a sharp left turn in a parking lot the car started to roll backwards down a slope. It was discovered that the engine was no longer running. Placed foot on brake to stop vehicle from rolling back wards and put transmission into park. Put transmission back into drive and found that car was dead. Put into park turned key to off waited a second and turned key to start engine and it restarted.
