I have been given multiple warnings about a recall on the airbags for almost a year now. The recall claims that if the airbags go off, metal shards could fly out and could kill me. They say to go to a service center and have it repaired immediately. I have called several service centers and gm twice, and all they can tell me is that the parts are not available, and I will be notified when they are. It's been a year!!!!! I guess they are waiting for people to die before they will do anything. I do not feel safe driving my car and am considering getting rid of it for my own safety, and I will never buy another Chevrolet if they cannot assure that their vehicles are safe.
