They told me to trade it in. You clearly have it stated in other documents it’s illegal for sale or trade. So what the heck am I supposed to do. The air bag light comes on off and on. 70 Air Bag problem

Failure Date: 01/17/2024

I received a recall notice #n232404980 in June 2023 and after months of hearing from no one, I reached out to my dealership who said they had no parts to replace/repair this recall. After checking with gm today 1/17/24 they still do not have pats to repair this. This is 8 months since this recall was announced and I would think that is sufficient time to get parts to fix this. When you send someone a notice to tell them their car has a defect which has the potential to "result in injury or death to vehicle occupants" I should think they would beworking a little faster to get these parts. I am extremely unhappy with the way gm has handled this and feel like someone needs to get involved to get this resolved.
