Odometer fraud. The contact purchased a 2019 Chevrolet Traverse. The contact stated that they discovered a mileage discrepancy after the purchase. The vehicle was a private sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 141,670. It was later discovered that the vehicle’s title mileage was 301,887. The contact discovered the discrepancy when he tried to trade in the vehicle and the dealer ran the carfax. The mileage was listed on carfax back on August 14, 2025.
