1 Engine Stall problem of the 2005 Chevrolet Uplander

Failure Date: 05/01/2013

Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Chevrolet Uplander. The contact stated while driving approximately 35 mph, the engine stalled without warning. The contact managed to coast to the emgerceny lane and the vehicle restarted after multiple attempts. The engine stalled multiple times. On another occasion,the entire interior electric had shut off suddenly. The " brake" and "check engine" warning lights had illuminated intermittently. The vehicle would also shuddering sound present and had hesitated to accelerate immediately. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic for a diagnosis and the mechanic stated that the ignition switch needed to be replaced,there was an electrical shortage for the interior lighting, and head gasket needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired,however, the failures recurred multiple times. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 119,000. Gb.
