Five problems related to steering wheel have been reported for the 1997 Chevrolet Venture. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
At 10 mph, while trying to make a left turn, steering wheel made a popping noise, then it locked up on consumer. Cause unknown. Dealer notified.
Steering wheel broke of at 35mph, resulting in loss of control. The vehicle is being repaired by the dealer . The manufacturer has been notified.
Pad over the air bag is too thick. Horn button difficult to push. Dealer say's no problem.
Design of steering wheel makes it difficult to find and activate the horn.
While making a left turn steering wheel locked up, causing loss of control. Please provide further information.
