One problem related to brake master cylinder has been reported for the 1999 Chevrolet Venture. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Intermittently while driving braking system will activate without the occupant's request, causing the van to feel like "pulling on a load". Dealer replaced master cylinder. However, problem still occurring. Also, replaced the abs braking system, and resurfaced the brake rotors. Presently, the brakes feel spongy, and cause extended stopping distance.
