Front Seat Recliner Problems of Chevrolet Venture

Contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Venture. The front driver's side seat broke. Seat broke about one month ago. The back support.

While driving at 45 mph vehicle in front of consumer's vehicle came to a complete stop, causing it to rear end the other vehicle. Upon impact, driver seat track and anchorage came unattached.

While opening the side seat latch assembly, consumers finger was partially amputated.

Recall on the safety latch mechanisms on the middle and back row seats, however possible problems with remaining safety latch mechanisms on bucket seat is still present.

One of the pins on the bracket weld that holds the rear split seat sheared off. This could have caused injuries in event of an accident.

Consumer complains that he got his finger stuck in seat latch while trying to tilt seat, causing injury.
