Steering Tie Rod Assembly Problems of Chevrolet Venture

: the contact stated while applying brake pressure at various speeds, there was a vibration within the steering wheel. The vehicle was seen by a dealer and it was determined the knuckle collar around the front tie rod assembly was broken. The dealer replaced the tie rod assembly which corrected the problem.

In the past 2 years I have had to have the tie rods replaced on the front of my 2000 Chevrolet Venture twice.

I took my 2002 Chevrolet Venture in for a wheel alignment, my mechanic called back and said the front tie rods were in imminent danger of failing. He recommended that they be replaced, and they were. Another example of shoddy, we don't care workmanship from gm.

The contact owns a 2002 Chevrolet Venture. While driving at highway speeds of 70 miles per hour, the front right tire rod broke along with the front right control arm. The dealer (in grants pass, oregon) stated that they are unable to assist him with the failure since it was involved in a crash; however, the contact was not involved a crash. The front tires were worn and that doesnt occur during an accident. The contact is aware of the safety risk involved. The failure mileage was 45,000 and the current mileage was 57,2000.

Front end noise. The tie rods and rack and pinion steering were replaced, but problem still exists. Power steering pump and hoses replaced.

Consumer had noticed some problem with the steering. Had taken vehicle to dealer, and they replaced inner tie rod. Please provide more information.

Upon having front tires replaced tire dealership noticed the tie rods and wheel bearings wore out prematurely. As a result, the front tires were about to fall off.
