One problem related to software has been reported for the 2014 Chevrolet Volt. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Air bag sensor and computer system malfunction the driver side sensor at times malfunction and so the software disable the air bag system as a whole. The service air bag message comes on for few minutes and then disappears assuming everything is ok. Took it to the dealer and they informed me that I need to change whole airbag sensor kit and would cost me more than 1300 dollars. This should be a recall as this relates to safety.
