When my car goes between 60 and 70 mph the car shakes and the rpms jump to about 4 to keep the car at the speed I need it on high ways. My mechanic said it was a known issue for this car and year. But he could not find a recall. He said that the transmission would need reset by a dealer. Which is not cheap.
The contact owns a 2011 Chrysler 200. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds the vehicle would shake whenever the gears were shifted. The contact also mentioned that the vehicle would lunge forward. The contact stated that the vibrations were not as severe when the air conditioning was turned off. In addition, the contact stated that the brakes made a grinding sound when the vehicle was coming to a stop. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer.
