Tl the contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that the vehicle stalled after it was refueled. The vehicle was towed to world Jeep Chrysler Dodge ram (681 shrewsbury Ave, shrewsbury, NJ 07702, (732) 918-1380). The dealer rewired the electrical line to the fuel pump. After the contact retrieved the vehicle, it stalled again and was towed back to the dealer. The dealer stated that there was a loose fuel line that caused the issue to recur. The vehicle stalled again and was taken back to the dealer. The manufacturer was contacted and informed the contact that a case manager would call him back. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 199,000.

2 Other Fuel System Pump problem

Failure Date: 11/01/2017

The contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. While driving various speeds, the vehicle stalled without warning. Bakersfield Chrysler Jeep fiat in bakersfield, California diagnosed that there was an intermittent failure in which the fuel pump overheated and caused the vehicle to stall without warning. 4 Other Fuel System Pump problem

The engine shuts off while I'm driving and in reverse. I can restart it with no problem as long as I immediately step on the gas peddle. I have to shift into neutral to keep the engine running while at a stop light & back to drive. When I turn the key I do not hear the fuel pump like I used too! I've had repairs costing$509. 96 and still have the same problem! I think my fuel pump is not working correctly or about to stop working! is there a recall for the fuel pump?.

Tl-the contact owns a 2006 Chrysler 300. The contact stated that while driving 20 mph, they noticed the vehicle was jerking like it was going to stall and it finally did stall. The vehicle was able to be restarted however, the problem recurred several times. The contact stated that on 2/2/16, the vehicle after being fueled up stalled while driving again. The vehicle was towed to a local mechanic who diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. The repairs were done. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure.
