The contact also stated that the accelerator pedal was depressed; however, the vehicle failed to respond. The vehicle was towed to the dealer to be diagnosed. The contact was informed that there was a loose terminal on the battery and alternator. The vehicle was repaired; however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was included in NHTSA campaign number: 14v634000 (electrical system). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000.
