The front passenger door panel has separated at the top leaving an open gap between the window and the door. It appears that the rubber molding was not manufactured properly and as heat from the sun warms up the molding, it deforms, pulls up and separates. The problem has continued to worsen over time and is approaching the door locking mechanism. It is also now possible for water to get to the inside of the door. This is a non-moving part that was defective at the time of manufacture, but took time to malfunction.
The dealer said the parts are still unavailable.
Manufacturers have notified me by mailers. Dealerships have failed to notify me. When I have contacted them, they never have parts in stock.
