Engine cylinder #2 misfire, I work as a sedan driver for a limousine company and I'm experiencing problems with my 2014 Chrysler 300, took it to the repair shop because the check engine light was on, the diagnose was a misfire on cylinder #2, the shop replace spark plugs and coil packs, after resetting the check engine light the mechanic took the car for a road test and the engine light came back. After scanning the car again the same code came out for a misfire on cylinder #2. The tested fuel injectors and engine compression and everything was fine. I was told by the mechanic that the only fix is to replace the head cylinder. After talking to other drivers that own the same vehicle as mine, the told me that some of them are having the same problem, and 2 of them they did replace the cylinder head already. Due to the type of work we do we put a lot of miles on our vehicles, so far I 116,000 miles so I'm definitely not cover under warranty.
Driving the vehicle at about 50-55 and then car started shaking and check engine light started flashing pulled over and then the check engine light stayed on. I took it to the dealership the next day and I got a p0302 code. When I asked about the recall for that year make and model for the engine they told me that it does not affect that year even tho Chrysler recalled for that particular problem just not that year. Its the same issue from previous years.
