The vehicle's lcd screen has become delaminated which causes the control of the radio, air conditioning, navigation, and other features controlled by the "radio" portion of the car to become dysfunctional. The car will randomly beep, change air temperatures, start navigation, cause the loss of hands-free communication and call random phone numbers. This is a safety hazard as it causes the driver to be distracted in order to attend to the incessant beeping and issues related to ac/heat, navigation or radio (volume, etc. ). This appears from Chrysler forums to be an issue among a large group of Chrysler 300 year model 2018 owners. I am asking for a recall of the car for this reason.

Passenger front heated seat for no apparent reason began smoldering and two small burn holes came through the seat cushion. Vehicle was parked at the time and the ignition was off, and the car was unoccupied. This incident was reported to Chrysler and the car was taken to a dealer for inspection. The inspector's report indicated that this was not caused by a manufactures defect and told me to contact my insurance company. I do not agree with these findings and think that this matter should be investigated further as a dangerous fire might occur.

As I was driving my driver's seat collapse the back of the seat went all the way forward in a bottom of the seat went all the way down as I was driving and I could not remotely control my seats whatsoever. I had to disconnect my battery cables and reset my whole system but as it sits right now I cannot move my seats or put them in memory mode my seats will not move front or passenger side. My steering wheel will not go up and down nor telescope, brake pedals will not adjust also. I changed the fuse in the trunk four times it works for about a half a day and it starts all over again. The first time this happened was back in July of 2020 as I was driving and it was very very very scary,. Especially because I was on the highway.

Drivers side seat warmer burned a hole through the seat cover and burned a hole through the coat I was wearing. I was driving on the highway when I felt pinching on my lower back and smelled a burning odor. I turned off the seat warmer and drove the vehicle home. I was instructed by by my local Chrysler dealer to call Chrysler directly and get case number. Did so. . Case number 75085832. Never received a call back after 4 follow up calls. Dealer will not fix until Chrysler looks at it.

My 2015 Chrysler 300s has a dial gear shift that will not go into gear. I reside in nd and thought it was the frigid weather. The cars dial shift was stuck and ii had my two children with me in the cold -40 temp and -30 windchill. I had to walk to get help and leave my kids in vehicle. After being stuck for 4 hrs, I tried it again and the shift went into gear. It never happened again until oct 20th at 10:38 am. The weather was nice but the shift once again left my kids and I stranded after parking at a thrift store. After several tries and 1 hr the gear worked again. I'm a widow with 2 under age kids and need a reliable vehicle and this is not it. The radio changes stations when it wants, and the heated seats and heat work when used. The heat on the driver's side works when it feels but the air does blow. There is just no heat!! for north dakota that's not good !! my car is christine or you built a dangerous unsafe car !! now, I have to pay to have it fixed and the dial shift will cost me $400, the seats $300, and the electric problems are starting at $500 per bismarck repair shops, including Chrysler!! I am taking my car to eide Chrysler October 27th at 9 am and will have to pay labor costs with whatever extra they charge because this vehicle was built ppor and unsafe!! the vehicle was parked and off both times. When getting in to start it , the shift would not work. The first time was very cold, the second was a nice day. There's no rhyme or reason for these experiences.

Air bag light comes on and goes off when sitting/not sitting on passenger seat. Appears the seat's connection to airbag is faulty. Now the air bag light stays on. Took to dealership previously (soon after purchased) they said something was under the seat messing with airbag cables. Now light appears when nothing is under the seat. Light comes and goes but mostly stays. This happens when driving and sitting in car while warming up. Afraid airbags might deploy because of faulty wiring in seat.

830am 6/2014 I was getting into my car starting it up put my gear in reverse to back out of my driveway and I heard a craping sound coming from my car I put the car in park got out looked under my car and the whole bottom of my car fall it never had a accident in the car so did not no how this could have happened. Also the door handles are very poor they stated just bracken off. I have spent so much money replacing parts to a car that cost so much money. I have a family I am also a foster mother and I needed something with lots of room but I had no idea that the Chrysler 300 was built with cheap materials.

My driver side seat warmers malfunctioned and ended up turning on by itself and overheating and in turn, burning the driver's seat. I initially parked the car where I usually do and was planning on taking the car the next day to the Chrysler dealership by my home. I woke up on the morning of August 31, 2011, walked up to my car (which had black windows from the smoke from the flames) and opened my car door to find my driver side seat burned to ashes. This is an electrical problem and the situation with my car is being fixed and Chrysler is taking care of the problem. I do not want this to happen to anyone else. I pulled up some information about other Chrysler cars with seat warmers and other people has experienced the same problem with the driver side seat overheating and burning their drivers seat to ashes.

There was an oil leak at the rear of vehicle and the dealer replaced the rear axle pinnion seal and yoke. Also on this day the trim piece around the drivers seat came loose and they replaced the six (6) screws that had fallen out. Next the driver side sun visor clip broke and they replaced it. As of this report, June 6, 2013, both visor clips are broken. Lastly, the carpet on the floor board front passenger side is coming up. 02/17/05, there was a recall on vehicle d29 reprogram pcm and tcm08-d2-91-82, recall on vehicle d28 battery cable stud fasteners recall d28 inspect bulkhead stud 08-d2-81-82 ; recall on vehicle d50 radiator isolator brackets. The bolts were broken and replaced with rad support brackets 07-30-10-50 07-d5-01-82. I was charged 32. 05 for labor, g. O. G. , epa plus tax. 08/24/07, slack in left outter tie rod end. The seeing oil light was replaced on 05/22/09 for $166. 63 and it was recommended that the bleeder housing (leaking) $197; water pump & thermostat $854. 00. Replaced throttle body on 07/02/12. The key comes out of ignition switch while car is in motion, check engine light is on 8/7/13 . The ecu replaced on 8/22/12, car wouldn't go over 25 mph and rpm stuck @ 1000. The radiator was replaced on 05/13/13, had a leak. The timing chain, water pump and plenum gasket was replaced on 06/03/13 and my check engine light and that etc light are still flashing in the dash. The reason "supposedly" now is that Chrysler issued a bulletin for mechanics to have car owners to return the vehicle to dealership and pay to replace the crankshaft position sensors and this is as of June 6, 2013. I don't have anymore money, time nor patience for this vehicle! obviously, it is a lemon, by no stretch of the imagination. The company should be ashamed of the obvious fraudulent advertisement of their products. I am seeking to sue the company. They knew vehicle was no good.
