Tl- the contact owns a 2005 Chrysler 300c. The contact stated that after opening the hood the lid fell downward and hit the head of the contact causing a small laceration. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who diagnosed that the hinges were faulty and needed to be replaced. The contact indicated that the same failure was present on the trunk lid also. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified. The failure mileage was 25,000. Jft.
