One problem related to loud engine noise has been reported for the 2008 Chrysler Aspen. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Catastrophic engine failure on interstate entrance ramp. As entering ramp and starting to speed up, heard loud noise and lost all power/momentum. Had to tow and replace motor due to rod thrown.
