1 Engine Shut Off Without Warning problem of the 2007 Chrysler Aspen

Failure Date: 08/10/2020

After filling up the gas tank the vehicle shuts off while driving causing it to lose braking and power steering. The vehicle also shuts off while at a stand still. This only happens after filling up the gas tank and seemed to be caused by a faulty fuel tank rollover valve that is built into the gas tank so it cant be changed. The whole fuel tank has to be changed and the fuel tank is no longer available anywhere. I'm forced to drive a ticking time bomb because there is no way to fix this problem that should be a recall.

Vehicle shut off for no apparent reason while entering onto an expressway. Loss of power steering made vehicle difficult to control to safely get onto the shoulder. Sudden loss of speed made the vehicle a further hazard. Once on the shoulder, the vehicle could be physically keyed off, then restarted without issue. Cause of failure is unknown.

4 Engine Shut Off Without Warning problem of the 2008 Chrysler Aspen

Failure Date: 06/01/2016

I began accelerating onto a ramp to enter onto a major highway and my Aspen completely loss all power suddenly. The engine just shut down including power all electronics. I had to let the car glide to the shoulder, put it in park and restart the car, which it stared as it always has. This has never happened before nor did it happen again. I had the car checked out and they couldn't find anything wrong. Being that this happened while entering a busy highway, a serious accident could have been caused.
