Three problems related to brake electric antilock have been reported for the 1997 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
While reverse out of the driveway at low speeds vehicle accelerated to a high speed. Also, when braking there was extended stopping distance. Dealership will be notified.
While attempting to stop the vehicle abruptly the pedal went top floor and the vehicle continued to roll into the rear of another vehicle. Nlm.
Rear brakes improperly adjusted by manufacturer, resulting in front brakes overloading on braking, which in turn resulted in warped front brake rotors. Dealer adjusted the rear brakes and replaced the front brake rotors. Since the work was covered under warranty, I assume Chrysler (now daimler/Chrysler) is aware of the problem. Very disconcerting to have a safety-related problem in a car costing upwards of $25,000.
