1 Accelerator Pedal problem

The contact owned a 1999 Chrysler Concorde. The contact stated while in a parking lot as he placed the vehicle into drive, the vehicle revved and accelerated, the contact had not depressed the accelerator. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. The contact stated that the vehicle crossed the parking lot, jumped the curb and climbed a small hill and came safely to a stop. The police were called but no report was written. The contact injured his lower back but did not seek medical attention. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic and has not been diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer had not been informed of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 70,000.

2 Accelerator Pedal problem

Failure Date: 09/20/2004

While driving, the accelerator pedal assembly came apart. The owner ordered the part for repair. The owner also contacted the manufacturer but was not given any assistance. Provide further details.

3 Accelerator Pedal problem

Failure Date: 01/01/2003

Sticking throttle or gas pedal.

4 Accelerator Pedal problem

After depressing gas pedal it became stuck, causing consumer to hit another vehicle, and a pole. Dealer has been contacted. Please provide further information.
