Three problems related to automatic transmission park/neutral start switch have been reported for the 1999 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
After getting out of vehicle while it was in idle gear went into reverse, and vehicle ran into an embankment before stopping.
Shifter pin to interlock cable broke off causing the ignition key to become removable while the vehicle is in any gear. Yh.
While driving and upon turning ignition off, without the key in the ignition, gears moved. Consumer states shift does not lock in park when key was removed.
