Automatic Transmission problems of the 1999 Chrysler Concorde

Seven problems related to automatic transmission have been reported for the 1999 Chrysler Concorde. The most recently reported issues are listed below.

1 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 09/07/2005

1999 Chrysler concord. The consumer stated a sensor chip malfunctioned in the transmission. This made the vehicle shift through the gears. The problem has been repaired. This started approximately 2 weeks ago on September 7, 2005.

2 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 08/13/2004

While driving 70 mph vehicle suddenly decelerated to zero. As a result, vehicle would not accelerate no more than 5 mph. No impact reported.

3 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 03/04/2003

Transmission will not shift into 3rd gear.

4 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 10/29/2002

While driving at any speed and when shifting from first to second gear vehicle stalled. Consumer had a certified mechanic check the vehicle, and was told that transmission needed to be replaced.

5 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 05/28/2002

Vehicle was lacking power while driving then lost power. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that tramsmission needed to be replaced. Feel free to provide any further information.

6 Automatic Transmission problem

Failure Date: 10/01/2000

Have received no satisfaction from Chrysler. No safety defec tlisted.

7 Automatic Transmission problem

While diving consumer vehicle shifted from 1st to 2nd gear.
