Sludge build up in vehicle's engine. When the dealer was notified about the knocking in the engine and slow acceleration they told the consumer the entire engine block would have to be replaced. The engine cost approx $5721. 04 in repairs and Chrysler refused to cover the cost. The consumer found that a lot of engine replacement are due to a latent defect in the car from the Chrysler websites and feels that Chrysler should take some responsibilities in repairing the vehicle.

While driving 67 mph main engine bearing failed. Dealer determined that engine must be replaced.
