Hatchback/liftgate Support Device problem #1

The trunk lid hydraulic support devices are failing to hold the lid open allowing it to fall without warning. This started happening in the past six months and has resulted in minor injuries to both me and my wife (bumps and bruises). I purchased the car new in 2001 and it only has 36,000 miles. The car has always been kept in an enclosed garage and has never received any damage. I fear a more severe injury will result if this problem continues.

Structure problem #2

Vehicle would vibrate when back windows were down, also would make ears pop. Contacted dealer, and dealer stated this happened all the time.
