Rearview Mirror problem #1

My vehicle is a 2004 Chrysler concord lxi with an automatic day/night mirror. The configuration of the rear of the vehicle and the high mount brake lamp causes the mirrors rear facing light sensor to be shadowed when a car is following at normal distances in both city and highway driving. This causes the mirror to randomly dim and brighten causing significant driving distraction from blinding lights. There is no failure as this has been a chronic condition. The manufacture refuses to look at the problem as the mirror itself is working normally. This is an issue that affects all Chrysler concord models with the automatic dimming rear view mirror.

Defogger problem #2

The contact owns a 2004 Chrysler Concorde. The contact stated that when the defroster was engaged, it failed to defrost the window and obscured the driver's vision while driving. The failure recurred numerous times. The vehicle was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 63,100.
