Chrysler Concorde owners have reported 2 problems related to air conditioner (under the equipment category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
Funny odor when running air conditioning or the heater. Told there was a slight leak and the repair would cost $1200 to $1400. The car is a 2001 Concorde with 43676 miles, sure was hoping to get more than that out of a heater or ac unit.

2000 Chrysler Concorde lh; ac evaporator failed after about 3 years; dealer charged me more than $500 for an analysis and re-charge, which lasted 2 months; took it back to dealer, who then told me it was the ac evaporator, and that it was out of warranty! to fix it would cost more than $1,200. I contacted the dealer and Chrysler on 7. 8. 2005 and was told there was nothing they could do. This is grossly unfair -- especially when Chrysler knows there is a known defect in its air conditioning systems. Chrysler said there has been no recall on this equipment so there is nothing they can do.
