Chrysler Concorde owners have reported 1 problem related to front seat heater/cooler (under the seats category). The most recently reported issues are listed below.
I found five recalls on the safecar. Gov site, yet I have never been notified of any of them. In approximately 2000-2001, I had a failure of the driver's seat, while trying to move the seat back for more room, where the back fell all the way down to a reclining position. I was not able to make it stay up. The dealer at the tme repaired it at an approximate cost of $1,100. 00. Sometime later, I read in the newspaper later about a recall for the seats, and took it to joliet Dodge, joliet, IL, who is now out of business. They refused to do anything, telling me I had already had it fixed, and refusing to reimburse me for the cost to repair. Fast forward to July 2014. When trying to move the seat back by using the lever for that and pushing back with my body, the seat back totally failed again. It goes all the way down, and will not stay up. Because of the age of the car, and the fact that I am a retiree on only social security for a very limited income, and not being able to afford the cost to repair, I did a home made fix by putting my large plastic cooler on the floor in back of the seat to hold it up. I am lucky this happened while the car was in park, not moving, else I might have had a terrible accident. The first time it occurred, I was driving, but had no accident.
