Seats Problems of Chrysler Concorde

2002 Chrysler Concorde. Driver's seat back suddenly reclined. The seat back will not stay up. Chrysler recall c04 (NHTSA campaign number 03v035000 had allegedly been performed on this vehicle by the selling dealer, laflam chryler in runnemede, NJ, on Feb 20, 2007. This recall is supposed to entail replacement of the seat bolt assembly to prevent this problem. I am the original owner.

June 14, our family of 5 was traveling from minnesota to utah. We where on hwy 160, 10 mile from tuba city, arizona, when our Chrysler pacifica was rear-ended by a pickup truck . On impact my husbands drivers seat collapsed down onto my legs pinning them between the seats. We where pushed violently into the other lane of oncoming traffic. Mark, my husband, was driving. Mark grabbed the wheel and was able to pull himself up quick enough see and re-gain control over our vehicle. We then stopped safely off the side of the road. Along with this injury I have a broken hand with damage to my wrist, all from the impact of the collapsed seat. I have asked Chrysler to look into this investigation. I received attitude from the first gentlemen I spoke with. I requested they go to tuba city where the vehicle is being held so they could do their own investigation. I do not yet know the outcome of this. But I do not think the seat collapsing should have happened and if this is proven to be true. Other families may also be at risk with there 2004 pacificas. Please help me look into this seat issue. I am doing all I can to help my self and family to heal and receive what compensation is just and truly due with this research. I need your help to know if this seat should have collapsed on us and if not, help us spare a possible fatal outcome for another family by making this accident public information with a possible recall.

Drivers bucket seat failed without warning, causing losts of visibility, nearly caused a crash.

Stopped at red light. Was rear-ended. After being hit, we noticed that we were laying back in the front two seats which had collapsed. The car was totalled. (state farm is the agent handling the adjustment). Passenger suffered mild concussion/ neck/ arm and back injuries. Driver has muscle aches and headaches. I have contacted a law firm ref this incident to possibly pursue action against Chrysler and state farm.

Driver's side seat moves back and forth whenever vehicle comes to a stop or when vehicle take off from a stop position. Dealer notified, and informed consumer that nothing could be done.
