Side/window Air Bag Problems of Chrysler Concorde

May 21, 2013 at about 8 am I was on my way to work driving on the freeway when the passenger airbag deployed for no reason, it startled & shaken me to the point that it almost cause me to get into an accident, I thought that I had a tire blow out or gunshot to my windshield because I seen a flash, I pulled over and exit to the next off ramp to calm myself for about 25 min then drove my car to the car dealer service area hoping that the driver side airbag wouldn't deploy on my face as I drove. I am very concerned and hope to have some one look into this very dangerous faulty airbag issue that I've encountered and for the damage to my vehicle. Please contact me regarding this complaint. Passenger side airbag cover has delaminated from metal portion. Appears to be unsafe passenger condition.

Vehicle was involved in a side impact collision. Vehicle is equipped with side air bags. Manufacturer states insufficient force present to deploy airbags. Force of impact caused vehicle to spin and roll after contacting ditch. Vehicle was traveling approximately 40 mph when struck by other vehicle going approximately 30 mph. Damage to all sides of the car, roof, and undercarriage. Car was declared a total loss.

Owner put the vehicle in drive while foot was still on the brakes and the vehicle accelerated forward and hit a car and a garage wall, and neither driver's or passenger's side airbags deployed. Dealer said there was nothing wrong with the car.

While driving at 65mph driver hit a deer, lost control, and the front end of the vehicle hit a bridge. Neither driver's side nor passenger side airbags deployed. Dealer has not seen vehicle.
