Failure Date: 11/01/1999

Wiper motor arm makes contact with throttle cable during operation. The throttle cable is routed to near the wiper arm and contact is made when the wipers are turned on. The wiper arm damaged the throttle cable cover and could have caused the throttle to hang. This could be an accident waiting to happen.
