The back window has become detached and is hanging on by a thread. It becomes more detached when driving the vehicle. The silver seen in the photo is duck tape we applied to help keep it in place which is not working. This vehicle has been stored in a garage since purchase in new smyrna beach FL. Additionally, in the past two months the air bag indicator will not go off in the vehicle. Its like owning the bastard stepchild of chysler/mercedes nobody knows anything. Help!.

Airbag light and therefore failure unless fixed due to faulty clock spring and steering angle sensor with only 67144 miles on car. The clock spring was found defective and recalled on other Chrysler models - should be extended to include this model.
Takata recall - 16v-081 driver airbag light is on. Unable to register the vehicle due to inability to fix it since the Chrysler has basically abandoned this car. There is no expectation of the recall parts being made available. This car is now a loss to me since no one wants to risk driving it and harming themselves.

We purchased the vehicle on 05/20/13. The light that warns of an air bag problem was on. We took it to feeny Chrysler,Dodge Jeep in gaylord michigan on 06/10/13. They found that mice had chewed some of the wires. They repaired the wires and removed some mouse nests that they found. However the air bag light was still on and they said we needed a new air bag module. We dropped the vehicle off again on 06/26/14 to have them check the air bag light again. This time they put a new module in and the light was still on, indicating that there was no communication to the module. So, they ordered another module and installed it. When that one had the same result,(the module not communicating), they called Chrysler for help. They then went into the dashboard and found a pinched wire, fixed that and now everything works. My point is, it was a manufacturing error ( a pinched wire) creating a serious saftey problem for the owner. The previous owner told us that the light was on when she bought it in 2011. At that time it was still under the warrantee and I think it should still be covered now because it is a safety issue in spite of the age of the the vehicle and the fact that it only has 38333 miles on it now.
