Two problems related to steering have been reported for the 2000 Chrysler LHS. The most recently reported issues are listed below.
2000 Lhs steering mechanism ruptured and caused consumer to lose control of the vehicle. The manufacturer denied the consumers claim stating they didn't find and defects in the steering system.
Excessive play and wander in steering on my 2000 Chrysler Lhs. 3 trips to dealership, dealership blames alignment and tires. Have tried 3 alignments, and 2 complete sets of new tires. Vehicle is unsafe to drive at highway speeds. Have seen numerous complaints of same nature on various websites as well as NHTSA.
