The contact owns a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated while driving 70 mph, the vehicle started to sway from left to right, and a message displayed reading "stability control system fault". No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, who determined that the rear passenger’s side cradle was fractured. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 130,000.
The contact owns a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica. The contact stated that while pressing the accelerator pedal the vehicle would not immediately accelerate forward, the transmission had experienced harsh shifting along with the check engine light remaining illuminated. Later while driving the vehicle began to experience engine misfiring. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer who diagnosed that the transmission was faulty and engine coolant was present inside engine cylinder 1,3 and 5. The vehicle was not yet repaired. Also, both the driver side and passenger side sliding doors had malfunctioned and erroneously opened after being closed. The doors were reprogrammed and the failure was remedied and after a cold start the brake pedal had extended to the floor. The cause of the failure was not determined. The manufacturer was notified of the failure but no assistance was offered. The failure mileage was 40,000.
