Tail Light Switch Problems of Chrysler Pacifica

Body control module failure, lost headlights , wipers, could not close windows, airbag lights came on. If driving at night when module fails you lose all headlights and tail lights. Was driving at the time of failure.

2004 Chrysler Pacifica. Bought the car with 16000 miles and have had it 6 years now. The last 3-4 years have had problems with constantly replacing headlights and tail lights, approximately every 6 months. Now recently, beginning sept. 2014, the driver side rear running light will not come on. The break light is fine and the parking light is fine, but no running light. I know it is not the bulb, because I used the bulb that was working on the right side and it still did not work. Took it in to a local dealer about 3 years ago and they basically could not find any "problem". Chrysler needs to recall these cars and fix the ongoing issues.

On March 5, 2012 I was required to pay $95. 00 for a full diagnostic to satisfy [xxx] ([xxx] corporate office). The service was rendered by capital Chrysler 200 waterfield ridge place, garner nc 27529. The service rep [xxx] and service manager [xxx] informed me that the catalytic converter replacement looked used due to the rust on it and was causing other mechanical failures in my vehicle but would not confirm this in writing. I do not have an extra $1000. 25 sitting around to pay for a part that Chrysler is well aware of it being defective or used. Chrysler settled a lawsuit in 2005-6 with the u. S. Environmental protection agency for the defective catalytic converter. In closing, as a resolution to this matter I would like all repairs related to this matter replaced at no expense to me by a certified Chrysler dealership of my choosing. . Read more...
