Air Conditioner problems of the 2006 Chrysler Pt Cruiser

The contact owns a 2006 chrylser Pt Cruiser. The contact stated that the air conditionaer would not blow cold air. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where the contact was informed that the evapurator was leaking and needed to be replaced. The mechanic notified an authorized dealer and was informed that all of the parts were on back order. The manufacturer was then notified and the contact was informed that all vehicles under 70,000 miles would be covered, under warranty, for the repairs. After informing the manufacturer of the mileage, they denied to cover the repairs under the warranty. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was 50,000.
